With healthcare ailing, the elderly are looking to cushion their savings with a little side work. Some are resorting to selling trinkets on eBay, while others have found greeter jobs at WalMart. A few more entrepreneurial grandma’s, like our friend here from Uruguay, have taken up Drug Trafficking.
I am generally not one to tell people how to make an extra dollar or two. Heck, selling Cocaine is a lucrative business, and those carrying the product across international borders are likely making a nice piece of the action. However, one thing is for certain, if you are carrying almost 10 pounds of Cocaine on you, or any illegal drug for that matter, drawing unnecessary attention to yourself isn’t the best idea.
Civil Guards became suspicious when the younger woman repeatedly told the older woman — who had asked for an airport wheelchair in Madrid to traverse the terminal — that if they rushed, they would make their connecting flight to Spain’s Canary Islands.Source: www.cnn.com
Rushing isn’t a good idea either. Take your time, relax, and watch the money pour in. Oh, and if your cover is blown, running around like a madman through the terminals with no sense of direction isn’t a big help either.
The younger woman immediately fled, first trying to make the connecting flight, which by then had closed its doors, and then attempting to leave the airport terminal for the street.
But she was stuck in the “satellite,” or second building, of Terminal 4, which is connected to the main building and the street by an underground train. Police caught up with her before she left the satellite terminal.
So, let that be a lesson to you. When smuggling cocaine, or any other drug, stay calm and peaceful. If caught, assess the situation, plan a route, and run like a bat of out hell.
