Jennifer Marie Guthrie, 28-year woman from Gainesville, seems to love prison too much as she was back in the prison only after was released from a prison on March 4, after serving a 10 month sentence. She robbed two men on separate occasions – on March 11 and 18, by sudden snatching of their wallets.
Officer Courtnay Roberts picked up Guthrie after she was identified as the suspect in nearly identical crimes. In both cases, men staying at motels on Southwest 13th St. said they were talking to Guthrie when she grabbed hundreds of dollars from their wallets, then fled in a black Chevy Impala.
Guthrie told investigators that she took less than $100 from each man. She was being held at the Alachua County jail on Monday.
Makes you wonder, what were these men doing? How did she reach out to their wallets and then run away with it? Is there something missing in the story?
