It looks like LG’s Genesis, an “enV” looking smartphone, is slated for a June 9th release for $149.99 on contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. This device sports not one, but two screens! The outer display runs at 3.5-inches and the inner comes in at 2.3-inches. It also sports a 5 meg camera, slide out qwerty keyboard, GPS navigation and 32 gigs of storage for those cool pics and tunes you’re planning on downloading. The device will run Android 2.2 (Froyo) with a possible chance of receiving 2.3 sometime in the near future.
The HTC Merge can now be purchased on U.S. Cellular for the same price of $149.99 after a $100 rebate as well. The device sports a 3.8-inch WVGA capacitive display, slide out qwerty keyboard, 5 meg camera, GPS navigation and the ability to use the device overseas, as it’s a global phone. The device also comes running Android 2.2 and should be receiving Gingerbread love around the same time as the LG’s Genesis.
