On February 15th, 2013, the Russian city of Chelyabinsk was treated by one of nature’s most incredible events, a falling meteor that is visible in broad daylight. Such an event is incredibly rare in populated areas, and while it is beautiful to see it can also lead to disastrous consequences.
The video below is a quick compilation of numerous dash-cams that managed to catch the meteor, as well as a few mobile phone videos taken after the event.

The Russian authorities have now release seven photos of what’s left of the meteor. This particular rock was taken from the warehouse which it struck, demolishing a wall and roof.
