Here we go again, an Apple took first place in the ranking of 500 of the most expensive brands according to consulting firm Brand Finance (BF) – its value is estimated at 87.3 billion dollars, according to a press release, BF, sends “ITAR-TASS” .
In second place is South Korea’s Samsung with a brand value to 58.77 billion dollars. It is the only company in the top ten which is not from the U.S.. On the third line – Google to 52.13 billion dollars.
Leader among Japanese companies Toyota was from $ 25.97 billion. The company found itself in 15th place, as in last year’s version. The most expensive German brands were car: Volkswagen has risen to the 17th line of the 35th and is worth 23.66 billion dollars. BMW and Mercedes-Benz are 23.23 and 20.3 billion dollars respectively.
In the list of the top 50 companies included only three British – Vodafone, HSBC and Tesco, two Chinese (ICBC and China Construction Bank), as many French (BNP Paribas and GDF Suez), and one each from the Netherlands and Switzerland (Shell and Nestle).
The highest position of the Russian companies took Sberbank – it is the only one among Russian companies whcih made it to the first “one hundred” and rose to the 63rd line from 78th a year earlier. Brand is worth 14.16 billion dollars. The closest place “Gazprom” ($ 8.3 billion, 122-th place). Further, by a large margin, LUKOIL (218 position), “VimpelCom” (brand “Beeline”) (232), “Rosneft” (256), “Magnet” (346), MTS (361) and “Megaphone” (433 line, 2.84 billion dollars).
Recall that in late January 2013 it was reported that the U.S. company Exxon Mobil has reclaimed the title of the most expensive corporate world after the fall of the next Apple securities at auction in New York on Friday, 25 January 2013. Apple shares were down on the last day of the working week by 2.4%, resulting in a market capitalization dropped to 413 billion dollars.
Note that in October 2012 an American corporation Apple led the ranking of the most influential brands, the magazine published by Forbes.
In late August, Apple Inc. reached a record high in the history of capitalization, breaking the record , which for 13 years held the other technology companies – Microsoft Corp.
